I am a PhD student in Political Science and Research Associate at the Center on the Politics of Development at the University of California, Berkeley. My research focuses on belief formation and political accountability with a focus on Sub-Saharan Africa and Latin America. I combine insights from the field of political behavior and formal theory to understand how political beliefs, attitudes, and electoral choice are affected by information and social signaling.
Prior to UC Berkeley, I received a B.A. in Political Science from New York University Abu Dhabi and has worked as a researcher and predoctoral fellow at the NYU Center for Technology and Economic Development and the Berlin Social Science Center, respectively.
