Course Description
Theory and practice of political organizing: Building communities; Empowering and motivating individual and group action; political strategy, framing issues, leadership, lobbying. The course will include interaction with community organizers, political candidates, elected officials, campaign professionals and political strategists. Students will practice organizing skills through in-class exercises, written assignments and volunteer activities.
