Selected Topics in International Relations: Conflict, Security, and Political Psychology

This course explores international and sub-national conflict and security issues from the perspective of political psychology.  We draw on four branches of psychology – personality, social, cognitive, and affective – to examine decision-making related to a variety of topics, including nuclear weapons, war initiation, and climate change.
