Prerequisites

231b is recommended for anyone interested in doing or reading empirical work in political science, along with 231a.  The courses are intended as a one-year introductory sequence, but the material is not necessarily sequential. The 231b course is offered at most once a year, and the “B” does not imply that “A” is a pre-requisite. Thus, the courses can be taken in either order. 231a will be offered in Spring 2021
