Sara Jozer

I am a PhD Candidate studying American politics, political behavior, and quantitative methods. My research interests broadly encompass campaigns and elections, with a particular emphasis on gender and voter behavior. I’m especially interested in voter responses to women and members of other marginalized groups as electoral candidates. My dissertation project explores the role of patriarchal gender norms in shaping women’s political pathways. I primarily draw on large-N experimental and observational survey data.
