Personal Statement
I am a Ph.D. student specializing in international relations with secondary fields in comparative politics and research methods. My research focuses on international security and conflict, specifically the design and efficacy of domestic security institutions as well as the effects of foreign intervention and regime change.
Before coming to Berkeley, I obtained an M.A. in International Relations from the University of Chicago and a B.A. at the George Washington University.
