Grey Liu

I am a PhD student focused on early modern political thought. I also have broad interests in normative political theory, especially theories of equality, as well as methodological questions in approaching past political ideas.

Prior to coming to Berkeley, I received MA in Cultural, Intellectual and Visual History from the Warburg Institute (2022) and MA in the History of Political Thought and Intellectual History from Queen Mary, University of London and University College London (2021). I also hold a BPhil in Philosophy and a BSc in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Peking University (2020).
