I am a Ph.D. Candidate in the Department of Political Science at the University of California, Berkeley. My research focusses on the political economy of development. My dissertation explores the role of local bureaucracy in shaping how citizens access basic welfare services in developing countries. I have other research projects that focus on the topic of decentralized governance, party politics, and how emerging technologies (re)shape societies.
