Brandon T. Chen

Brandon is a first-year PhD student in international relations. His research focuses on the interplay between domestic politics and foreign policy, specifically in the context of Taiwan, and more broadly East Asian security. Prior to Berkeley, Brandon worked as an analyst for the U.S. Department of Defense, taught English in Hualien County, Taiwan on a Fulbright grant, and received his bachelor's degree in Government from Harvard College.
