Recent PhD graduate Anna Callis has been honored with the 2024 Sage Best Paper Award by the American Political Science Association’s Comparative Politics section for her article When Economic Elites Support Democratization: Evidence from Argentina. Currently a postdoctoral fellow at the Center for Inter-American Policy Research at Tulane University, Callis continues to make valuable contributions to the field of comparative politics.
