Katarina Sandberg

I am a Fulbright Visiting Student Researcher in the Political Science Department at UC Berkeley for the academic year 2024-2025 and a PhD candidate at Linköping University, Sweden.

My research focuses on local government, with my dissertation project exploring the evolution and effects of institutions that involve collaboration between multiple local governments. I also have a strong interest in quantitative methods and education policy, the latter of which stems from my previous experience as a journalist covering educational issues.

I hold a master's degree in political science from Uppsala University.
