Personal Statement:

My research lies at the intersection of international political economy, political psychology, and computational quantitative methods. I ask questions regarding the social dynamics of the international financial system, the role of interpersonal relationships in banking regulation, and the network structures of cross-border investment and trade. My work also involves themes of mental maps and the role of debt in individuals' daily lives, as well as relational semantic mapping of social concepts as individuals understand them.
