Di (Wendy) Wang

Di "Wendy" Wang is a Lecturer in the Department of Political Science, where she teaches courses on international political economy, globalization, and senior honors thesis. Prior to joining Berkeley, she was an Associate Professor of Instruction at the University of Texas at Austin. She has received multiple teaching awards for her innovative and student-centered approach. 

In addition to her teaching, she also served as a Provost Teaching Fellow at UT Austin and as a faculty liaison for the U.S. Department of State’s Diplomacy Lab program. She has led study abroad programs in Singapore and Vietnam and worked with universities in Taiwan to advance student mobility initiatives. Her research examines sovereign wealth funds and the politics of foreign direct divestment.
