The UC Berkeley Political Science Department is proud to highlight the recent appointment of alumnus Obai A. Ramboto the San Francisco Homelessness Oversight Commission. Appointed by San Francisco Mayor Daniel Lurie, Rambo now serves on the citywide accountability body responsible for guiding oversight, systems reform, and equity efforts within one of the region’s most complex policy areas.
Rambo credits his Berkeley Political Science education as foundational to his commitment to public service, urban policy, and equitable workforce pathways.
