Article by Professor Gabriel Lenz, Jack Citrin, and PhD Alumnus, Doug Ahler, selected as the best paper published in LSQ in the calendar year 2016

Congratulations to Professor Gabriel Lenz, Jack Citrin, and PhD Alumnus, Doug Ahler, whose article, "Do Open Primaries Improve Representation? An Experimental Test of California's 2012 Top-Two Primary" was selected as the best paper published in LSQ in the calendar year 2016. The committee noted, "The paper is especially important in that it speaks to a number of literatures, and has important real world implications (particularly in a time of polarization and heightened debate over institutional design/reform)." The award will be presented at the legislative section business meeting at APSA.
