Department Placement History

Berkeley's political science graduate students have a strong record in securing academic employment, and continue to secure faculty and postdoc positions at the most competitive institutions in the US and abroad.

The Department of Political Science offers job search and placement file services for its Ph.D. candidates and alumni who are seeking academic or non-academic careers. The placement service provides job candidates with information on job vacancies and fellowships, help with establishing and mailing placement files, job-related research materials, and job search skills counseling.
